Community Chaplaincy Association at Spring Harvest 2026
The Community Chaplaincy Association (CCA) was delighted to attend Spring Harvest 2026 at Butlin's Minehead Resort, where we had the opportunity to promote the vital work of community chaplaincies across the nation.
Throughout the event, the CCA hosted a stand in the Skyline Pavilion, providing a welcoming space to connect with visitors, share conversations, and raise awareness about the support offered to people leaving prison and rebuilding their lives after involvement in the criminal justice system.
Over the course of the week, we spoke with hundreds of people from churches, charities, and local communities who were keen to learn more about how community chaplaincies walk alongside individuals facing some of life’s most challenging transitions. These conversations created valuable opportunities to highlight the importance of hope, restoration, and practical support for those seeking a fresh start.
Spring Harvest also gave us the chance to strengthen relationships, inspire new interest in volunteering, and encourage churches to consider how they can play a role in welcoming and supporting prison leavers in their own communities.
We are grateful for the warm welcome we received and for every conversation that helped shine a light on this important work.
