Straight Path Resettlement Project is a community chaplaincy initiative led by the Khidmah Organisation in Leicester and the East Midlands. This project provides comprehensive support to individuals transitioning from prison back into the community, as well as to their families affected by imprisonment. Services include practical assistance, emotional support, and spiritual guidance, with a particular focus on the Muslim and BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) communities. The team offers multilingual support in Urdu, Gujarati, and Punjabi, ensuring accessibility for diverse populations. By addressing the unique challenges faced by ex-offenders and their families, the Straight Path Resettlement Project aims to facilitate successful reintegration and reduce recidivism.
